About Us

Serving the children of the world

WE'VE HELPED CHILDREN IN CAMBRIDGE FOR MORE THAN 100 YEARS

Over 300, 000 people from around the world have found that Kiwanis provides business networking opportunities and the friends to make life a more fulfilling experience. There are approximately 10,000 Kiwanians, from all walks of life in Canada.

The first Kiwanis Club was organized in 1915 with the aim of community involvement and service. In 1916 and 1917, the Kiwanis Clubs of Hamilton and Toronto were chartered.

Kiwanis is a service organization focusing responsibility toward their communities, countries and people everywhere. Each Kiwanis Club has a mandate to impact its own community; as well as the opportunity to engage in coordinated global initiatives.
The Kiwanis Club of Cambridge is a very active club providing time, energy and money to our local community. Listed below are a few of our primary projects;

  • 4–H Calf Club Cambridge
  • Kiwanis Boys’ Choir
  • 296 Air Cadet Squadron
  • Cambridge Kiwanis Village Non Profit Housing
  • Bursary Program
  • Young Children Priority One
  • Key Clubs
  • Cambridge Memorial Hospital

We'd like you to join our global family
